House of Springer is proud to announce the launch of Wattle Leaves, a wallpaper pattern in collaboration with interior brand Ayara Home and now available through Anthropologie Home.
Designed by artist and pattern designer Frederikke Springer, founder of House of Springer, Wattle Leaves draws its inspiration from the Australian Golden Wattle tree. Frederikke has a deep affection for Australia, where she has spent several months exploring the country and immersing herself in its landscapes and flora.
Hand painted timeless elegance
Carefully painted by hand in watercolour, Wattle Leaves celebrates organic forms and the quiet elegance of botanical structures. The human touch is intentionally visible — delicate brushstrokes and fluid pigment transitions reveal the movement of the watercolor brush, giving the design warmth and authenticity. The pattern balances softness and structure, offering a timeless expression that feels equally at home in modern and classic interiors. Its stylised and refined aesthetic is paired with a subtle playfulness and a gentle sense of romance.
