Meet the Designer & Founder
ABOUT
Hi I’m Frederikke, a licensing artist and surface pattern designer from Denmark. I work with established companies to create handmade illustrations and patterns for home decor products such as wallpaper, cushions, art prints, etc.
Nature is my primary source of inspiration. My cottage home and its location in the picturesque Danish countryside also plays a central role in my motifs and patterns. I weave in tales of the surrounding forests, fields, flowers and streams; about the sea and the changing seasons.
Anything from a roadside flower to raindrops on my window will fuel my imagination. However, most of my inspiration comes from my cottage garden where I passionately spend a lot of my time.
While nature is my main inspiration, creating beautiful and cozy homes is my motivation. My dream is to add elegance and interest to homes allover the world through my designs.

Handmade Craftsmanship
All House of Springer designs are carefully drawn or painted by hand.
Before the motifs are digitized they are typically sketched by pencil and since coloured with different mediums such as watercolour, gouache, ink or marker pens.
This part of the creative process adds a visible human touch and unique handmade quality to the final designs.
